Cheryl Brown, Financial AnalystCheryl Brown joined Arboretum Ventures in 2011. She supports the finance and accounting operations of the firm. Her responsibilities include recording investment transactions, preparing financial statements and tracking portfolio company investments.
Prior to joining Arboretum, Cheryl was a Controller for several start-up companies in Ann Arbor, including Synthetic Vision Systems, Mainline Technologies, Autospect, Inc. and Ensure Technologies. She also worked as a Financial Analyst for the Consortium for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN), which began its operations in Ann Arbor and is now part of the Earth Institute at Columbia University.
Cheryl earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
